What is Textbooks4Change
Lacking in cash, students usually have trouble fundraising for causes they believe in. Textbooks4Change allows students to raise money by simply purchasing their coursebooks!
How does this work?
With Textbooks4Change student organizations can choose a non-profit to support and fund-raise for by purchasing textbooks. We are affiliates of several online book sellers, this means that they pay us a certain amount (usually 6-7%) of every book purchased through our textbook search system. This money is then donated directly to the chosen cause.
How did this start?
As broke college students, it was always hard to contribute money to important causes. Every semester most of our cash was fed to the hungry hungry textbook industry. So we thought: "Hey, wouldn't it be nice if a percentage of these gargantuan @#*! textbook costs went to a good cause?" And Textbooks4Change was born.
